Brexit
30th January 2020
The 31st January will be a memorable day in our nation’s history. It is the day that we finally get Brexit done and the whole nation can finally come back together. The arguments are over, and we should remember that whichever side of the debate you were on, we are all passionate about our country. We all want the same, which is to live in a strong country that we can be proud of.
The job before us now is to focus on what was promised in the general election: -
• Funding the NHS and providing a great service for everyone
£39.9 billion enshrined in law
50,000 more nurses
40 new hospitals and 20 upgraded hospitals
• More money for every pupil in our schools
£5,000 extra funding for every pupil and £4,000 for primary school pupils
• More police on our streets
20,000 extra police – 156 in the first wave for Fareham
We have the opportunity before us to control our own destiny and create a country that caters for everyone and is not dependant on where you were born. Everyone in our great nation should have the same opportunities. Brexit gives us the chance to provide a better life for everyone, we just need the courage to work together and have a vision.
