Fareham Remembrance Service 10th November 2019
10th November 2019
The people of Fareham showed their respect today, for everyone in the armed services who sacrificed so much to give us our liberty. They turned up in large numbers and showed what a great community we have.
Local Conservative MP for Fareham, Suella Braverman laid a wreath at a very moving Act of Remembrance. Following this was a Service at Holy Trinity Church. Local councillors including the Lord Mayor Pamela Bryant and the Leader of the Council Sean Woodward were in attendance to show their support.
There was a reading from 14 year old Lucy Attrill and prayers of intercession, by Catrin Gibbard. Both of these young ladies showed great dignity, and we should be proud of their contribution.
This was a great tribute to members of the armed services who gave so much for us.
