Stephen Ingram - I’m Standing for Election
9th March 2021
It’s official! I am delighted to announce that I am running as the Conservative Party candidate in Fareham East, at the forthcoming elections for Fareham District Council on Thursday May 6th.
As a long-standing resident of the Fareham East ward, and also the InTouch Team Leader, I am excited at the opportunity I now have to represent thousands of householders in this area of our wonderful town.
Between now and election day, I will be out and about, listening to the concerns of constituents, with the aim of making Fareham East a better place to live and creating a more cohesive environment.
I have spent a considerable amount of time, not just in recent weeks, canvassing the views of local residents, to get to the heart of the issues affecting those who live locally - old and young, whatever their background and circumstance. I firmly believe that I am best placed to act decisively on your behalf.
As an example, I am passionate about supporting and elevating the life chances for our young people and making a radical difference in areas such as apprenticeships, mentoring and mental health issues.
But to make a difference, first of all I need to get elected. That’s why I am counting on your support on May 6th. I am on your side. Vote for me and I won’t let you down.
You will be hearing plenty more from in the run up to the big day but, in the meantime, if you have anything you would like to raise or discuss, please comment below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
